A "remove" flag used to mark portions of articles to be removed.

== Usage ==

This template should be added at the beginning of article sections being considered for removal. To propose the removal of entire articles, use [[Template:Redirect]] or [[Template:Archive]]. Ensure to cite specific concerns with the first argument and possibly also on the flagged article's discussion page:

You can override the default discussion page with a second optional argument:

Alternatively you can point to a specific section in the default talk page with the named {{ic|section}} parameter:

Flagged pages can be found in [[Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Remove]] or in [[:Category:Sections flagged with Template:Remove]]. Usually there is a waiting period between flagging and removing the content, during which users can raise arguments against removal by starting a [[Help:Discussion|discussion]] on the associated talk page or expand/correct offending material to prevent the content from being removed entirely.
